Seminar on Exploring India’s Technological Renaissance Organized by the Department of Public Administration

The Department of Public Administration, Assam Don Bosco University (Tapesia Campus), organized a seminar titled “Exploring India’s Technological Renaissance: A Seminar on Advancements in Science and Technology” on 13th March 2024 at Room No. B1-010B-PA Classroom 2.

The seminar, conducted under the theme “India’s Techade – Chips for Viksit Bharat,” aimed to provide students with insights into India’s progress in science and technology and its future trajectory. The event witnessed the participation of around 130 students along with faculty members of the department.

The session commenced with a welcome and opening address by Dr. Saurabh Chandra, Assistant Professor, who highlighted India’s journey in science and technology, focusing on key milestones and innovations. The seminar also included a documentary screening on “75 Years of Scientific and Technological Advancement in India,” offering students a comprehensive perspective on the country’s growth.

Additionally, participants viewed a live stream of the address by the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, which further enriched the learning experience by connecting national vision with academic discourse.

The session concluded with closing remarks and a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Rupak Biswas, Assistant Professor. The seminar provided an engaging platform for students to understand the role of technological advancement in nation-building and the vision of a developed India.
